ABOUT
Me

Katie is the founder of Buddha and the Whale.

Aside from this work, she is a passionate conservationist and documentary shooting producer.

She is also a specialist camera operator trained in both Canopy heights and Underwater operating. Her aims are to build B&W into a place for the team to grow creatively, whilst using their passions to help educate and raise awareness of conservation and science.

ABOUT
Me

Jason has been involved with Buddha and the Whale since its inception. He helped establish the brand, and build its portfolio of documentaries.

Primarily, he is the director of photography for the projects but will often play an active part in pre and post-production to make sure the films meet their full potential.

ABOUT
Me

Katie Duddy has been with Buddha and the Whale for the last year.

Her work building our presence both online and at networking events has hugely increased our following.

She has a very respectable background in project and event management, which has proven invaluable for Buddha and the Whale.

In the future, Katie aims to produce conservation films and projects.

ABOUT
Me

Justin Du-Pre works with Buddha and the Whale as a freelance editor and VFX artist. He has also joined us on location as a helping hand with assitant directing, often organising interviewees before shoots.

His long history in VFX and graphics, alongside his keen interest in conservation has helped us tremendously with branding and fundraising.

Bryony Lewis is a keen conservationist working part-time and freelance as a content editor and writer for Buddha and the Whale.

With a degree in linguistics, she has been a great asset to us in writing blogs, editing pitches, scripts and social media outlets. She also has worked informally as a voice coach for some of our voice-overs in some of our best work.  We can't wait to see her portfolio grow with us.

Despite having a distinct passion for wildlife documentaries, his impressive portfolio ranges from Cineworld commercials to award winning feature films.

ABOUT
Me

Fiona Wardle works as an international contact for us.

She is a distinctly talented underwater camera operator and has shot stunning production stills and GVs for our documentaries.

She works as a great fixer for New Zealand and Tonga.

Me

Joe Boon has worked with Buddha and the Whale since our first production.

Joe both composes and plays music to add stunning scores to our work.

Graduating from the Royal College of Music, he has since gone on to help score some great multi-media pieces. His scores and his support of Buddha and the Whale have played a large part in what the business is today.
